Bottom sheet

Component

Bottom sheet is a surface that contains additional content and is anchored to the bottom of the screen. Designed primarily for mobile experiences, bottom sheets display supplementary information that complements the primary content on the screen. They can be dismissed to interact with the underlying content.

Bottom sheets serve as containers for presenting transient content such as menus, options, additional actions, and more. They are particularly useful for displaying types of content that might be overwhelming if presented as popovers. By utilizing a bottom sheet component, designers and developers can effectively present supporting content or facilitate short supplementary tasks in mobile interfaces.
